Itinerary

Day 1 :

The trip takes around 10 hours.

1. Pick up from Sengigi, Mataram (transfer is in the price included) - the tour should start around 8-9 am. Please let us know what time you prefer.

2. Stop at Narmada Summer Palace, was built in 1718. (40 min)

3. The Sendang Gile waterfalls (around 60 min)
located at the foot of Mount Rinjani, the second highest volcano in Indonesia. Access to the waterfalls is usually from Senaru, a village at the northern foot of the volcano. The route to Sendang Gile Waterfalls often involves a hike through lush forests and hills. The hike not only provides an opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking nature but also a refreshing sight of the waterfalls. The main waterfall, Sendang Gile, is the largest and most famous of the waterfalls in the area. The water cascades spectacularly from the rocks into a natural pool. The sight and sound of the water are impressive. The area surrounding Sendang Gile Waterfalls is of cultural significance and there are often local stories and legends associated with the place. The visit therefore offers not only a natural attraction, but also an insight into the local culture and history.

4. The Tiu Kelep waterfalls (around 120 min)
located near the Sendang Gile waterfalls and are part of many hikes and tours in the region. Access is often from Senaru, where visitors begin their hike. The trail to Tiu Kelep Waterfalls usually involves a hike through jungle areas and riverbeds. The hike can be challenging, but it offers a fascinating experience for adventure seekers. The natural pool at the base of Tiu Kelep Falls is often a favourite spot for visitors to take a refreshing dip. The clear water and surrounding nature create a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere. As with Sendang Gile Waterfalls, there are legends associated with Tiu Kelep Waterfalls.

5. Senaru village (40 min)
allows travellers to experience the local Sasak culture, including traditional ways of life, handicrafts and possibly local festivals.

6. The Bayan Mosque (40 min)
is known for its traditional architecture, which is often influenced by the local Sasak culture. Sasak is the dominant ethnic group on Lombok and their cultural characteristics are often reflected in the architecture.

7. Optional - if still time is left, we can make a stop for the sunset at Malimbu or Nipah cliff, one of the best viewpoints for sunsets on Lombok.

8. Return to your hotel in Senggigi or Banksal (transfer in the price included)
